Overview

Marathon Asset Management is a global credit manager with approximately $23 billion in assets under management. Our platform is well-established with a 20+ year track record of strong returns through investments in the global credit and real estate related markets.  We are currently looking for an exceptionally bright, conscientious, and articulate Receptionist/Facilities Assistant to join our team. 

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide positive first impression; notify employees of visitor arrival
  • Answer phones, relay messages and provide info to callers
  • Maintain clean and orderly reception area; secure and prepare meeting rooms
  • Daily attendance
  • Provide administrative and clerical support
  • Receive/sort mail and packages
  • Schedule high volume of interviews, maintain calendar and resolve scheduling issues/inquiries
  • Coordinate meetings, catering, conference room bookings
  • Schedule travel

Qualifications

  • Must have 1-2 years reception/admin/office management experience within financial industry
  • Customer services skills: verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with employees, visitors and clients
  • Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly, be thorough and pay high attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Technical acumen required: experience in expense portals (Concur) and Zoom or Teams required; experience in scheduling/troubleshooting in Outlook
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all employees, visitors and clients, such as being personable and attentive; patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations; work well under pressure.

 

The average salary for this role is $55,000-65,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.  The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data.  We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case by case basis.  Marathon benefits highlights includes (but are not limited to) Medical/Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, STD/LTD, Life Insurance, PTO, Commuter Benefits and company provided lunches.
