The Client Service Associate (CSA) role is an essential part of Marathon’s Private Wealth & Intermediary Platform team and tasked with preserving the operational efficiency of our organization. The Associate will partner with the Client Solutions & Business Development (CSBD) team to maintain a high level of service, facilitate the needs of our clients, and optimize the CSBD Team’s effectiveness with reporting and CRM management. This position is critical to creating positive client experiences. A successful candidate will be client-focused and committed to developing creative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CSBD Team with administrative support of sales initiatives and investor requests.
  • Facilitate escalated operational requests for investor accounts (account updates, rep changes, capital call notices, investor portal log in requests, tax documents, business processing redemption requests).          
  • Generate ad hoc reports for CSBD team.
  • Maintain data integrity in CRM database.
  • In partnership with the Marketing Team (MaCS), assist with preparing all relevant materials for client meetings/calls
  • Liaison between operations, risk, portfolio management and CSBD team to introduce an efficient client experience.
  • Assist with the execution of bespoke client events as needed.
  • Coordinate investor information to help CSBD teams maximize product impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in the financial services industry and/or investor relations is preferred
  • Candidates should have excellent communication skills, effective presentation abilities, and possess strong analytical skills (ie Excel)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across the firm
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Self-motivated, assertive, proactive, independent and flexible
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $130,000 to $180,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
