Overview

Marathon Asset Management is dedicated to seeking attractive absolute returns through investments in the global credit markets and real estate related markets with a long-term goal of building a world-class asset management platform. We currently have a need for a Salesforce Product Owner who will oversee the following: 

 

As a Salesforce Architect, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering salesforce cloud technology. Our Salesforce Architect reports directly to the Managing Director of Software Development, and is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering scalable, secure, and effective Salesforce solutions that align with business needs and best practices. This role serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the Salesforce platform is optimized to enhance customer experiences, streamline business operations, and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, requirements, and opportunities for Salesforce enhancements.
  • Work with teams to gather, documents, and prioritize business requirements. 
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows for development teams.
  • Own and manage the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring it reflects currents priorities and business needs.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes to deliver maximum value. 
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects by participating in sprint planning, reviews or retrospectives.
  • Act as primary point of contact for Salesforce user inquiries, issues and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee a streamlined support ticketing system process to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate delivered functionality. 
  • Continuously assess and optimize Salesforce features, processes, and integrations to improve system performance.
  • Develop user guides, training materials and best practices for stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure effective adoption of Salesforce tools.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience driving end-to-end Salesforce product strategy, roadmap development and implementation at an investment firm.  
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce products to develop business solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree completed.
  • Preferred Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Expertise in Agile project methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience interacting directly with business teams.
  • Must be available to work on-site (5 days a week)

The average salary for this role $150,000 - $225,000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data
