Position Summary:

 

The Global Trade Support Analyst will join the Financial Controls team in London supporting primarily the Emerging Markets trading desk, which transacts in Emerging Market bonds. The position provides an exceptional opportunity for individuals looking to make a move to the buy-side or one already in a similar role to further develop themselves.

 

The Analyst will work with the Senior Manager providing operational cover for all the trading activity of the Emerging Market desk. This will involve close coordination with the traders and other members of the Financial Controls team in New York.

 

Prior financial services experience is required.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Inputting trades into portfolio management system

 

  • Confirming trades and allocations with counterparties

 

  • Managing settlement exceptions with custodians/prime brokers

 

  • Completing daily cash/position reconciliations with fund administrators

 

  • Assist Senior Trade Support team member in London on daily regulatory reporting requirements focusing on MIFID2 trade and transaction reporting

 

  • Ad hoc reporting and reconciliations.

 

  • Provision of cover to the Trade Support team in London and New York

 

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of financial services industry experience
  • Required knowledge in Fixed Income products (corporate bonds and government bonds).
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, responsible personality with attention to detail, and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrable skills in Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

 

 

Compensation:

 

The average salary for this £65,000 - 85,000 GBP in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data.
