We are seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer to join our technology team and shape the future of our Salesforce ecosystem. 

Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions that enable our business teams to operate efficiently and effectively. In this hybrid role, you will also serve as a backup for the Salesforce Product Manager and provide hands-on user support, ensuring continuity across project delivery, platform management, and end-user engagement. Also Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, translating strategic objectives into feasible and scalable Salesforce solutions that drive organizational growth and efficiency. Success in this role will be measured by system reliability, user adoption rates, project delivery timelines, and the ability to innovate and optimize relevant business processes.

 

This position reports directly to the Managing Director of Business Technology Solutions and requires a versatile professional who can think strategically, build technically, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

 

  • Architect & Build: Design and develop scalable, secure Salesforce solutions aligned with business strategies and best practices.
  • Lead Technical Delivery: Define technical direction, guide developers, and ensure quality execution throughout the SDLC.
  • DevOps: Lead the end-to-end Salesforce DevOps strategy, overseeing version control, environment management, and automated release cycles to ensure platform stability and high-velocity delivery.
  • Integrations: Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems with a focus on data security, consistency, and performance.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, code quality practices, and release management processes.
  • Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience via AI, automation, and low-code/no-code adoption.
  • Provide hands-on Support & Administration: Act as a backup for the Salesforce Product Manager and assist users with support requests, configuration needs, or process enhancements.
  • Documentation & Training: Create robust documentation and provide knowledge sharing and training across the team and business users. 

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, customization, and development across Sales, Service, and related SaaS environments.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of AI tool usage, integrations, data modeling, and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD tools, version control).
  • Experience leading Salesforce implementations through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodology and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in client-facing contexts.
  • A strong interest or experience in applying AI technologies to enhance team productivity and automate complex business logic.
  • Experience designing and developing on the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and/or Salesforce Industries platforms is preferred, with a deep understanding of industry-specific data models and workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, and System Architect.

 

The average salary for this role $150,000-$175,000 in base pay and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will consider internal equity and market data.
